If you leave, your assets export cleanly and the managed runtime stops; taking the codebase to self-host is a separate, scoped buyout. Foundation keeps this light-touch — the system running with owner-plain reporting and the operator on call. Command and up is active, hands-on management.

You are never locked in and never held hostage — your customers, business data, and brand are always yours. If you want to stop, there are three honest off-ramps. Export: request a full export of your customer list, business data, and content at any time — it is portable and yours to take. Downgrade: drop to a lighter tier (for example, Command to Foundation) to keep a leaner system running for less, instead of cancelling outright. Code buyout: a one-time buyout to take the codebase and self-host or run it yourself — available, quoted to scope. On a full cancellation, what stops is the live managed system — hosting, updates, support, and the operator's ongoing work — because that is what the retainer funded. The running operation winds down; your assets (customers, data, brand, and domain) come with you. Foundation and Command are month-to-month after go-live, so you can cancel anytime on clear terms. You were retaining an operator and a managed system, not licensing software you own outright.

The seven-day clock is for a Foundation (Phase 1) build, and it starts when your intake is complete and your build start is scheduled — not the moment a deposit lands. Larger systems (Command and up) are scoped in weeks, not days.

Under $10,000: a 50% deposit schedules your build and the balance is due at go-live. For larger systems ($10,000 and up), payment is milestoned — 40% to schedule, 40% at build review, 20% at go-live. Card and deposit processing runs through Stripe at their published rates. Noctivion does not mark up payment processing.

No. Noctivion delivers operator-ready systems and acts as the fractional director behind them — the system handles hosting, updates, and integrations; the operator handles the judgment and reports back in plain owner language. You own your customers, data, and brand.

Your build window locks. A short scope call confirms boundaries and schedules the build start, then Noctivion delivers the live system on the tier's timeline. For under-$10,000 builds the balance is due at go-live; larger builds follow the 40/40/20 milestone schedule.
XVIHow much does the platform do on its own?
Exactly as much as you authorize. Routine operations run within limits you set; anything customer-facing, financial, or high-risk waits for your review. You set what may execute automatically, what needs approval, and what stays manual — with a full record of what ran and an emergency stop.
